Areas of expertise:
- Since 1999, Jens Flensborg has worked with Public Law in a wide sense
where he primarily advises Danish local authorities and other public
authorities which he also represents in administrative complaints and legal actions. - Jens’ primary areas of interest are legislation on environment, planning,
building and nature protection. In addition, Jens also works a lot on Area Law,
especially in connection with compulsory acquisition/sale, where he represents
his clients in valuation cases and legal actions. - On a regular basis, Jens holds courses and seminars within his areas of expertise,
including on the legal environmental education of KL (Kommunernes Landsforening
– Local Government Denmark). - Jens has co-written the book ”Ekspropriation i praksis” about compulsory
acquisition/sale just as he has written several chapters of
“Planloven med kommentarer” (the Danish Planning Act with comments).
