We ensure that our clients have updated contracts and supplementary agreements, such as staff handbooks, guidelines, etc. at all times, thereby enabling clients to meet the requirements of legislation and at the same time structure their organisation optimally.

There are numerous rules in the area of employment law, such as the Employment Contracts Act, the Salaried Employees Act, the Employment Clauses Act, the Anti-discrimination Act, the Equal Treatment Act, the National Holidays Act, the rules on personal data, the Trade Secrets Act, the Act on the Legal Status of Employees in the Event of Business Transfers, the Act on Mass Dismissal, the Active Employment Measures Act, the Sickness Benefits Act, any collective agreements entered into, and many more.

At Codex Advokater, we have many years of experience in all areas of employment law, from ongoing advice on day-to-day personnel operations to handling conflicts that have reached a deadlock and may end up in court, and similar matters.

We know our clients well, and our role is typically that of the internal advisor who provides good, timely advice and sparring, so that companies always make the right choices in the area.

Naturally, we also help if a conflict has arisen, and in such case we assist with negotiation, conducting proceedings in the Labour Court, in arbitration or the ordinary courts. We serve a wide range of businesses, from self-employed enterprises with very few workers to global companies with several hundred employees.
